Five New International Medals for Cassis Monna & Filles in 2026

Among the World's Most Prestigious Competitions

The San Francisco World Spirits Competition, often referred to as the “Oscars of the spirits world," and the International Wine & Spirit Competition, founded in 1969, are among the most highly regarded competitions in the industry.

What makes them unique? All products are evaluated through completely blind tastings.

The judges—including distillers, sommeliers, buyers, specialized journalists, and other international experts—do not know the brand, the producer, or the country of origin of the products they are tasting. Only the quality of the spirit is evaluated.

Our 2026 Results

San Francisco World Spirits Competition

• 🥇 Blackcurrant Liqueur — Gold Medal
• 🥇 Artisanal Blackcurrant Vodka — Gold Medal
• 🥈 Artisanal Blackcurrant Gin — Silver Medal

These results also highlight Quebec craftsmanship. Of the eight medals won by Quebec producers, three were awarded to Cassis Monna & Filles—the highest number earned by a single producer.

Our company also received two of the three gold medals awarded to Quebec producers. Our Artisanal Blackcurrant Gin was also the only Quebec spirit to receive a silver medal at this year's competition.

International Wine & Spirit Competition

At this competition, only two Quebec products received awards, and both were from Cassis Monna & Filles: our Blackcurrant Liqueur and our Artisanal Blackcurrant Vodka.

More Than 30 Years of International Recognition

These five new medals are not an isolated success.

For more than three decades, our spirits have consistently received awards at international competitions, reflecting the quality and consistency of our expertise.

Our Blackcurrant Liqueur is now one of Quebec's most highly awarded spirits. Over the years, it has received several gold medals, multiple Double Gold distinctions, a Best of Class – Fruit Liqueur title, and the prestigious Fruit Liqueur of the Year award.

Our Artisanal Blackcurrant Vodka has also earned numerous distinctions since 2020, while our more recently launched Artisanal Blackcurrant Gin has quickly established itself among internationally awarded spirits.
